I've taught music professionally since 2011, as well as English since 2017. I took many music education courses and received high marks for writing at Southeast Missouri State University, where I majored in music and earned my Bachelor's degree. I'd love to provide you a fun learning experience in subjects like piano, singing, music theory, composing, English, reading, writing, and acting. I believe in making the lesson relevant to the student's interests and learning style. I love being a lively teacher, even animated if it fits a student's personality, but I also work well with more serious students. Either way, I still love to infuse humor and joy into the lessons while helping the student reach important and meaningful goals.

When I'm not teaching, I like to spend time with family and church friends. I'm passionate about raising awareness and support for families fighting DIPG and other childhood cancer. Another thing I love to do is write and produce songs and dramatic scripts, alone and with collaborators. I love writing stories, scripts, and songs, and some of my work has been published.
