10+ years of tutoring
Daniel
- I have a BA in economics from Pomona College with minors in mathematics and music.
- I've since been working on my master's degree in economics at Michigan State University.
About Me
After college, I was a non-degree, special student at Harvard University for two years where I retook several economics and mathematics classes through the Research Scholar Initiative to better prepare myself for graduate school. Throughout college and graduate school, I tutored elementary school children in English, math, and music, a middle school student in algebra, high school students in personal finance, and college students in microeconomics and macroeconomics. I am most passionate when tutoring students in mathematics because, regardless of your field of study, math has a funny way of popping up in whatever you do. As someone who has been the worst and best student in many classes, I understand that low performing students are NOT dumb or lazy and that a stellar tutor can make a big difference. In my free time, I like to sing in my church choir and exercise.
