I come from a family of teachers, specifically music educators, but my experiences run the gamut of all kinds of teaching paradigms. I've taught in inner city programs working with at-risk youth, I've helped prepare students for entry into college, worked with differently abled students facing their own unique challenges, and everything in between. I personally enjoy the process of getting to know a student, finding out exactly what it is that they need to be successful, and then helping them shorten their learning curve. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, playing music with great colleagues and friends, and spending time with my family.
