- I needed specific help.
About Me
It wasn't until I was in high school and started to gain enough confidence to ask for help when I needed it that I realized that I didn't learn the same way others did. Once I sought out the proper help/tutoring and started to excel in classes, I realized that not only was I smart, but I was brilliant! It's always smart to ask for help! I got my first tutoring opportunity in college where I worked with children in nearby elementary schools. It didn't take long to realize that I loved to be that extra support that I once needed as a young student! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English that I received from William Peace University in lovely downtown Raleigh, North Carolina! The subjects I tutor are:-Reading-Writing-Essay editing-English-Elementary Reading-Elementary English-ESLMy favorite of these subjects to tutor is essay editing. I am a writer at heart and I love to read essays and help tweak and polish them into the gems they are meant to be! I would describe my teaching style as "results driven." I like to set goals at the very beginning and work towards those to produce results. The way in which we work towards those goals may vary from student to student, based on their personality and learning style.
Hobbies & Interests
I am always interested in global current events! I love reading, rock tumbling and jewelry-making, and camping!
