I have taught 1st grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade. I have spent 23 years working in the public school system. After teaching for 9 years, I went back to school and became a school counselor, because I felt the need to help students at a more social and emotional level. I have a Bachelor's Degree and 2 Master's Degrees, one in Education and one in Counseling from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. I have the ability to tutor all subjects in Elementary and I specialize in English and Language Arts 5th-8th grades. I enjoy helping others and I look forward to future successes with my next group of students.

I enjoy gardening, fishing, hiking and just being out in nature during the warmer months of the year. I also love to vacation with my family during the summer.
