I love guiding middles school throughh college students in one-on-one tutoring, helping them develop their own voice on the page. It's exciting to assist others as they discover new things about themselves through writing, opening creative vistas to their future potential. Writing is the basis for all education: it develops critical thinking skills, encourages "big picture" thinking, and preps students for life in "the real world." Every student has something to offer through their inherent abilities to tell stories. My job is to help a student to be their best self, using writing as that conduit to better self-understanding and self-awareness. I have strong experience working with ADHD students--as I have it myself so I "get it." Also worked with students on autism spectrums.
