Some students simply need more tools than others. Thankfully, tutoring is an amazing way to provide these tools. I worked as a high school and middle school special education para for three years, and I have begun my first year teaching college English. I have learned to become very patient and adaptable to student needs. I have a bachelor's degree in film from Mary Baldwin University, and I have a master's decree in creative writing from Regis University. I tutor English and writing courses as these are the subjects I am most proficient in and most enjoy. I also help prepare students for state and college board testing, reviewing helpful strategies. I teach to help students succeed. Learning styles differ greatly, so students should be treated as individuals. Tutoring helps focus on an individual so they can be the best they can be. Outside of academia, I love movies and television. I also really enjoy comic books.

I enjoy reading and writing as much as possible. When I need to just chill, I love watching television and movies. I also bike to get fresh air and exercise.
