About Me

After the birth of my son, I experienced a profound realization of my vocational calling, ignited by witnessing his developmental milestones and educational growth. Motivated by a desire to facilitate learning experiences akin to those I observed in my son, I embarked on a journey to support children, particularly those with learning disabilities. This journey led me to discover my passion for teaching. Commencing as an assistant teacher in a pre-kindergarten classroom, I progressively pursued professional development, culminating in the attainment of an Early Childhood Development certification and an associate's degree in Teaching and Learning from Houston Community College. Currently employed at Sugar Land School of Science and Technology as a teacher's aide, I am committed to furthering my education at the University of Houston to acquire a bachelor's degree and teaching certification. Specializing in Language Arts, writing, and history, I am dedicated to fostering engaging and dynamic learning environments, whether in-person or virtual, to enhance students' comprehension and instill a lifelong love for learning. My pedagogical approach prioritizes student enjoyment and active participation, facilitating accelerated learning and a genuine appreciation for knowledge acquisition.
