About Me

I am a graduate of Lamar University where I earned a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. I also attended The University of Phoenix and received my Bachelors degree in Business/Accounting. Although I have a degree in Accounting, my passion is in education. I taught 6th grade Math and 4th grade ELAR and I have tutored all grade levels from early childhood through College Educational courses. I have extensive experience as a teacher mentor focusing on instructional strategies that improve student outcomes. I believe that every student can learn! My teaching style includes modeling, clear and precise expectations and celebrating the progress and accomplishments of my students!
