Hi everyone! I am originally from the mountains of North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During my undergraduate career, I double majored in Political Science and Peace, War, and Defense with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Go Heels! After I graduated from UNC, I joined Teach for America in Dallas, Texas. There I taught 5th-grade math and science for two years and became a fully certified teacher in Early Childhood-6th grade. I also completed my Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Gifted and Talented from Southern Methodist University. I have since moved back to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2022 where I live with my chocolate lab, Happy. I am so excited to work with you!

I absolutely love love LOVE to read - if you want to talk about any type of book I am ready for it! I also enjoy spending time outdoors walking my dog, Happy. I am very close to my family and love spending time with them and my friends as well!
