I love to learn and help others. Empathy, caring, and genuineness are noteworthy traits, without judging others. I am thankful to Pursue the Path of the Heart to seek meaning and a career pathway, as I have just completed a new degree, a Psy D. (Doctorate). I am also thankful to have completed a second Master's Degree in Counseling, (4.0 GPA) and inducted to Chi Sigma Iota (National Honor Society). Professionalism within the educational community at UIC, working as a guidance counselor, a therapist, a teacher, and working with the business community has afforded me opportunities to gain much valuable experience in assisting people from all walks of life, while respecting the dignity of others. There is a story of a young man who was walking along a beach, picking up starfish and throwing them back into the ocean. A man approached the youth and inquired as to why he is throwing the starfish back into the ocean. The youth looked at the man, holding the starfish in his hand, and threw the starfish back into the ocean. The youth said to the man, "it makes a difference to this one." Each person is precious.

I am thankful that I love to learn and help others. Spirituality, sports, exercise, reading, research, knowledge of career exploration, psychology, writing, and astronomy are meaningful interests.
