About Me

I will be completing my eighth year as an educator. The reason I began teaching is because I wanted to leave an impact on the students I interacted with. It is a special feeling to see your students grow and become outstanding citizens. The lessons we teach have more of an impact then just their education. I believe every student has the capability of getting to and through college. I am seeking the opportunity to be able to impact a greater number of students. I have held several Teacher Leader positions at my campus. I have a record of results for each position that I have held. I am currently serving as a campus administrator. I work closely with our Lead Team, Teachers, Students and Parents to make sure that we are communicating effectively. Together, we make sure that we are providing an environment that our scholars feel safe, happy and are present. I have also served as a former Content Team Leader for Mathematics. During my tenure as the CTL, our team was able to meet the requirements mandated by the State of Texas' School Rating System for Mathematics. To ensure our scholars were receiving the quality education and our campus was meeting our Department goals. Additionally, I have served as the UIL Coordinator and Math Event Coach for over four years. Our Team has qualified to compete at the State Level Tournament several years. I also served as a member of our campus TSI Instructional Team. Through our efforts, we have achieved a strong Passing Completion Rate.
