- I am a lifelong teacher and learner with over 20 years of teaching experience.
- I have been a registered nurse for six years and earned my Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Maryland.
About Me
I love helping people understand new and challenging content, and some of my favorite things are seeing the spark of understanding in my students and hearing about their successes after our learning sessions! I will be completing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the same institution in May 2027, where I am co-enrolled in a health education certificate program. I am also a Teaching Assistant for multiple undergraduate nursing courses. My ultimate goal is to not only practice as a Nurse Practitioner, but also to teach nursing at a top-tier university. Before entering my DNP program I worked as a nurse on a LDRP (labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum) unit, where I cared for laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns. I look forward to caring for patients as an NP!
