About Me

I am originally from the Dominican Republic, and my educational journey led me to Puerto Rico, where I completed my BA in education. Later, I pursued my Master's in Education from Andrews University in the United States. This diverse background equips me to engage effectively with students from various cultural backgrounds. As a passionate educator, my experience spans diverse roles, including positions in dual language schools. I've served as an ELA and math interventionist and taught middle and high school students Spanish. My K-8 teacher certification provides a strong foundation in curriculum development, and I have a particular passion for tutoring in math, Spanish, and ELA. I prioritize personalized learning, engagement, adaptability, and creating a supportive environment in my teaching approach. Witnessing students' enthusiasm for learning is truly inspiring, and I place great value on connecting with students from diverse backgrounds and fostering inclusivity within the classroom. My mission is to help students excel academically. I bring patience, active engagement, adaptability, and personalized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs.
