I am a graduate of Illinois State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Education and my Master of Arts in Foreign Languages. I enjoy working with youth and adults by helping them to broaden their minds learning another language and about the culture of the people. Teaching Spanish has been a very rewarding and enjoyable experience. I believe the higher you can go with your education, the better you are to make yourself more marketable. Learning Spanish is not only fun, and easy, but also beneficial in terms of personal growth, travel, building relationships, and career prospects. Working with students one on one or in groups is rewarding and enjoyable. The goal is to get them to the next level in acquiring the knowledge that they seek. In my spare time I enjoy singing in my church choir, traveling, and spending time with my family.

My interests include going to church and singing in two choirs. I also play the tambourine and occasionally direct songs. I enjoy spending time with my one and only sister. We like to go "thrifting" and to have lunch together. I also enjoy supporting my youngest son who is an avid theater student. I participate with the Theater Arts Booster Club at his school and love seeing the students perform by attending their plays and musicals. In addition, I enjoy teaching Spanish at my church twice a month.
