Beyond this, my mission is to contribute to the increasing diversity in STEM fields by supporting minority students in realizing their full potential. My experience is broad - I have a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, with a minor in Spanish, from NYU; and have also tutored elementary to college-level courses, for both volunteer and paid positions. These experiences have afforded me insight into the various challenges and opportunities presented by the academic arena. Therefore, I think every student should be supported according to their unique positions and I tailor my lessons for effectiveness. Mathematics is not only my favorite subject but also my preferred area for tutoring. I find its intricacies challenging and beautiful, sometimes even comical. The problem-solving skills that a student develops while learning the topics help, not only in other subjects but, in life as well.

However, I've probably researched anything you can throw at me at some point. Outside academics, I'm an avid reader, skater, puzzle enthusiast (of all kinds!) and passionate traveler.
