I hold three advanced degrees all in Education. A 25 year public school teaching and tutoring veteran, I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with a wide range of experience specializing in individual and small group sessions to support students in grasping , retaining, and analyzing subject matter content. My area of expertise is 1st -5th grade ELA, structured writing, and mathematics instruction. I develop individual plans for students to ensure they overcome challenges and achieve success. Well versed with engaging teaching strategies and implementing effective learning techniques with students, regardless the subject . I pride myself in being calm, patient, and exhibiting a positive and motivating attitude. Focuses on developing plans to suit the needs of all types of learners.
