About Me

I hold an MFA from The University of Texas at Austin, where I received the Presidential Preemptive Recruitment Fellowship, and a BFA from The Savannah College of Art and Design. For the past ten years, I have taught as a professor at a University, helping students reach their goals. A major focus of my work is supporting students with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. I have ADHD myself, and the strategies I have developed to improve focus, organization, time management, and follow-through shape how I teach and coach. I also integrate mindfulness and yoga for ADHD, which I practice personally and recommend as simple tools to improve attention and reduce stress. I build upon a lifetime of learned skills to manage and harness ADHD Alongside teaching, I am an award-winning lighting designer and a professional photographer working with professional equipment, my work is licensed through Shutterstock.
