I am passionate about helping students because I believe in empowering them to reach their full potential, both academically and professionally. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to mentoring individuals, guiding them through complex financial and business concepts, and helping them build confidence in their skills. My experience as a professor and my hands on experience in the investment world has allowed me to engage with students at various stages of their educational journeys, tailoring my approach to suit their unique needs. I hold an MBA from Stetson University and a B.A. from the University of British Columbia. I tutor subjects related to finance, business, and preparation for FINRA certifications (Series 6, 7, 63, 65 and 66). My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering critical thinking, encouraging open communication, and making complex concepts accessible. I aim to create an interactive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. Outside of academia, I am deeply involved in relationship management and business development, which keeps me connected to the practical applications of the subjects I teach. I have both classroom experience and experience working with those that need a little extra time to learn the materials.

I am an avid Triathlete and I have competed in the Ironman World Champions in KONA twice. I coach runners to their dreams of racing smarter. I love teaching community college business classes. And if I am lost, you are likely to find me on a ski slope in Canada.
