Michele
- This is my 34th year of teaching in public school settings.
- Most of my classroom experience is in grades 3 and 4 however, I also taught 1st grade.
About Me
I received my Bachelor's of Arts Degree in General Education N-6th grade and Masters' of Science Degrees in Reading K-12th grade and Special Education K-12th grade from St. John's University. Most of my career I have been a Reading Specialist where I have worked with students in grades K-6. While I can tutor in several subjects, my passion is helping struggling readers learn the strategies and techniques to overcome their weaknesses. Seeing that lightbulb moment when things connect for someone is an unbelievable experience. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves an education no matter what their circumstance. When I am not teaching, I love to read, spend time with my husband and children and cuddle with my pups.
