I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish, and I've spent several years in the classroom as a teacher. With two years of experience teaching second grade and one year in first grade, I've had the privilege of working with students of varying skill levels, backgrounds, and learning styles. Whether your child is working above, at, or below grade level, I thrive on meeting them where they are and challenging them to grow. My favorite subjects to teach are math and reading (particularly phonics), and I've had the opportunity to help students in these areas build strong foundational skills while also pushing them to think critically and creatively. In my tutoring sessions, I believe in creating a supportive, yet challenging environment where students can feel confident and motivated to improve. I've had experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and different learning styles, and I understand how important it is to be flexible and patient. My goal is always to make learning fun and accessible while ensuring your child is prepared to succeed academically.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my 3-year-old toy Australian Shepherd, Willow. I also love running, reading, and cooking – hobbies that allow me to unwind and recharge.
