About Me

Having once been a struggling student myself, I understand the frustration that can come with not grasping a subject right away. That's why I'm passionate about tutoringhelping students overcome those challenges and grow confident in their abilities is incredibly rewarding. My tutoring experience ranges from preparing high school students for the SAT math section to working with an elementary student across all core subjects. I earned my Associate of Arts degree through the Honors College at Miami Dade College and am currently pursuing a B.S. in Data Science and AI at Florida International University, where I expect to graduate in the summer of 2026. I tutor a wide range of subjects, including all levels of math up to calculus, French (all levels), Spanish and Portuguese (beginner to intermediate), and general middle and high school science. Among these, math is my favorite. It has always come naturally to me, and I love helping others see it in a simpler, more approachable way. My tutoring style is goal-oriented, patient, and adaptive. I'm committed to making sure students genuinely understand what they're learningno matter how many times it takes. It's not just about completing an assignment, but building lasting understanding and confidence. Outside of academics, I'm an active and creative person. I've played soccer since I was nine, enjoy running and going to the gym, and have been playing piano since I was twelve. I also enjoy playing chess to keep my mind sharp.
