About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Karthik Pittala. I'm a current second-year Diagnostic Radiology resident physician at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Before here, I attended the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Here, I excelled in academic and research endeavors, as evidenced by research awards and excellent STEP 1, 2, and 3 scores. I attended undergrad at the University of Michigan, where I graduated with honors in Biochemistry while also majoring in Anthropology and Biophysics. I have been an independent tutor through various platforms for approximately 5 years, teaching AP subjects, the ACT, SAT, PSAT, MCAT, USMLE/COMLEX, and providing admissions counseling for undergraduate, medical school, and most recently, residency programs. Through the years, I've honed in on techniques that work for students while also maintaining an individualized approach towards tutoring. With patience and efficiency, I have been able to help students achieve their goals through robust planning and high-yield content review.
