About Me
As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Biology from Central Michigan University, I have been teaching (and tutoring) since 2001. My classroom experience is in subjects like Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biology. I strive to create a supportive learning environment by utilizing visual aids and step-by-step processes, which help students grasp complex concepts. I enjoy connecting with college and non-traditional students, as well as high school learners, often incorporating engaging case studies that relate to real-world scenarios. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running, crocheting, watching movies and television and I like to play the occasional board game.
