About Me

As a passionate educator with a Master's in Sociology from Morgan State University, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment that meets students where they are. With over 2 years of tutoring experience and more than 5 years in the classroom, I have had the privilege of teaching diverse groups of young learners, from TK/K students to high schoolers, specializing in Elementary School English, Math, Reading, Writing, and Phonics. My teaching philosophy centers on engaging students individually, recognizing their unique needs and interests. I thrive on helping students build foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, and I find immense joy in witnessing their enthusiasm for learning. My goal is to inspire confidence and a love for education in every student I work with, and I am excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact through tutoring.
