As a dedicated educator with a Doctorate in Reading and Literacy from Capella University, I am passionate about fostering a love for language and writing in my students. With over 2 years of tutoring experience and more than 10 years in the classroom, I specialize in analytical writing, literacy, college English, and English Grammar and Syntax. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and enhance their skills. I am motivated by the transformative power of education and the joy of witnessing my students achieve their goals. In my free time, I enjoy exploring poetry and literature, which continually inspires my teaching approach.
