About Me

I have been a public educator for over a decade in various capacities. I enjoy working with students in the virtual space to assist them with their educational journeys. I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor's Degree in music education (I was middle school music teacher for 7 years). From there I went to Notre Dame of Maryland University to earn my Master's in Gifted and Talented Education (I was an gifted and talented teacher for two years). From there I earned graduate certificates in Education Leadership and Equity in Education (I was a high school administrator for approximately two years). All the while, I taught private music lessons as another form of supporting student grown and educational journeys. Due to my diverse educational background, I tutor a variety of subjects including: - Music - Reading Comprehension - Executive Functioning Skills - New Educator Preparation -Study Skills Outside of tutoring and education, I love to travel, try new foods, and read for pleasure!
