About Me

I work full time as a nursing success coach and tutor at a state college and am passionate about guiding students on their best path for growth. Each nursing student has both areas of strength and areas that require more time and effort to master. My specialty is tutoring in dosage calculations and nursing math, yet I have skill in and enjoy tutoring in strategies for test taking, clinical judgment, studying, time management, and learning nursing content. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master of Health Science from Saint Francis University. And I am a long-time RN who has worked in a wide variety of practice settings and specialties across the U.S. I also hold certifications in case management and coaching, which compliments my student-centered approach to tutoring. It is ultimately the student who decides which methods and strategies work best for them.
