I have spent over thirty years learning the value of education and attempting to share that value with my students. I work tirelessly to convince them of this by building and maintaining authentic relationships with them, providing rigorous and differentiated instruction and trying with all my might to instill in them an attitude of excellence and the importance of grit.

I live on a 64 acre farm. We have longhorns, honey bees, chickens, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and family. I am a voracious reader. I love music. I enjoy arts and crafts. And, much to my chagrin, I am an avid horror movie fan.
