I am aware of how nervous students may feel about asking for help, so my goal is to make them feel they are in a safe learning environment. I have nursing clinical experience in pediatrics, adult ICU, medical/surgical nursing, mental health, addiction care, long-term care, home care, and other areas of nursing. I've been a nurse manager, supervisor, and quality director, so I have experience looking at issues from other perspectives as well. If I do not know the answer to a question, I'm good at finding the answer using my resources. I want students to know I'm on their team and will do all I can to help them learn the concepts they need to.
