I'm a high school science teacher with experiences in languages, writing, and the arts. I'm interested in helping my students decode and relate to the material in front of them, and develop meaningful connections with it so that their understanding goes beyond just skills and content knowledge.

I am passionate about helping students. I believe that we all are learners and teachers. all of us are readers and writers. I have the ability to share my passion for learning with others, and one of my greatest strengths is building relationships with students which is the corner stone to successful learning and teaching. I believe that there are no bad kids or bad students, it's just that we all have different paths and ways of learning, we all have a different pace. As a teacher i strive to acknowledge that and find ways to support all students, adapting to their needs and paths, meeting them where they are at. It is my job to believe in every single student and help them believe in themselves. When I am not teaching or engaging with students, I like to read, walk, hike, travel, explore, work out, watch my favorite shows. I enjoy playing and watching ice hockey, and I try to go home to visit my family in Italy once a year.

I am a recent college graduate with an A.B. in Education Studies from Brown University (Providence, RI). I have worked as a remote tutor for other online platforms throughout 2021. I am most passionate about English, especially literary analysis and essay writing. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy exercising with my dog. Hobbies: running, reading, music, writing, art, books

I am a graduate of the University of Chicago, where I received an MA in the humanities with a focus on on disability studies. For my undergraduate education, I attended Claremont Mckenna College where I focused on English Literature.

I'm a PhD student in Modern European History at Rutgers University, and I recently did an exchange year at the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. I have 8 years of experiencing in tutoring and previously worked for the Educational Testing Service in test development for the SAT, PSAT and pre-AP English exams.

I am a Professor of English Literature and Composition at a small liberal arts college, where I have been teaching for over twenty years. I received my Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Chicago and my B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University. Hobbies: books, music, hiking, art, kayaking, reading, swimming, writing

I am a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism of Northwestern University with an MSJ in Broadcast Journalism, and of Binghamton University of the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Rhetoric and Literature. While at Binghamton I also minored in Spanish and completed a certification in Comparative Literature and Translation Studies. I tutored Spanish while in college and worked as a translator for a municipal agency in the City of New York for many years. I enjoy tutoring essay writing, English Literature and critical thinking skills, and Spanish. I enjoy working with students to help them achieve their academic goals. I love seeing a student's face when they get that 'A-ha' moment, and I especially love knowing that I contributed to that. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, journaling, cooking, singing, dancing, and spending time with family.

I am currently studying for a Master's in Secondary Education; additionally, I recently obtained my Master's in English Language and Literature from Boston College. During the course of that degree, I concentrated in Irish Literature and Culture. Previous to that course of study, I double majored in undergrad, studying both English and history. My specialties for history are world history and American history. Hobbies: reading, music, art, movies, books, writing
