Growing up in Westchester County, New York I began tutoring elementary and middle school students at my local JCC in a multitude of subjects. Starting my junior year of college, I worked in the History Department as tutor, with a strong emphasis on helping students in American and European History. I am most passionate about tutoring students in History and English, including AP courses. I feel that I bring a creative and unique approach to my tutoring, and I actively work to help my students find a personal connection to a subject or topic they have previously struggled with. Every student has the capacity for improvement. In my spare time I like to read, write, watch movies, hike and play tennis.
