I am a graduate from Kutztown University with a degree in secondary education and a concentration in English; I am certified to teach English to grades 7-12. Since I have graduated, I volunteered to teach at the local Sunday School and worked at a day school as a before and after school teacher. Although English has always been my passion, I understand many do not feel the same; therefore, I believe I have the ability to make English understandable and enjoyable to students. I realize that each student has different needs, and I am accommodating, understanding and approachable, which allows me to cater to the diverse needs of students. Teaching is my passion, and I am really looking forward to doing what I love, teach! My tutoring abilities extend to Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, College Essays, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition and Public Speaking. In my free time, I love to hang out with my friends and family, read or just kick back and watch a movie.
