My goal is to identify your style in order to make lessons more memorable and enjoyable. I have been tutoring for six years and teach a college level biology course and am teaching assistant for several others. I find one-on-one tutoring has an advantage over classroom settings because you are able to adapt material for the individual so that there is a higher level of understanding. I received my B.S. from Rice University in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and am now a PhD student at Rutgers University in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources. I tutor throughout the sciences but also enjoy helping with written assignments. I believe that effective communication is key regardless of the field. In my free time I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors. I love hiking, camping, and rock climbing but sometimes you just need to sit under a tree and relax.

I love the nature and anything that will get me outdoors. I'm an avid runner as is my dog Boo. I also train Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and think it is a wonderful way to clear the mind and relax
