After studying at Emory University for several years, I transferred to Kennesaw State University to complete a degree in Middle Grades Education. While my academic focus has been on social studies and language arts for middle school students, I also enjoy teaching science and art. While tutoring, I maintain a positive, authoritative demeanor and engage students using research-proven motivation techniques. I have worked as a substitute teacher and tutor for several years and have led an after-school homework help program. My interests include fitness, drawing, eating spicy food, and exploring cities.
