About Me

My experience tutoring students while in high school and in college is what sparked my interest in becoming a teacher and in pursuing a Masters degree in teaching. I taught high school science for a number of years, and also helped my students with their ACT prep. Now that I am out of the classroom, tutoring students is what I miss most. I am extremely passionate about education and love working with students over topics they are having difficulty with. I truly believe that each person is different, and thereby learns differently. Therefore, I am committed to being a critical thinker and to finding different ways to teach concepts and skills to students. I am available on weekdays during the evenings and weekends during the day to tutor.
