From a young age, I have always enjoyed helping people. After coming to college, I decided that one of the best ways to help people would be through getting a major that would teach me the necessary skills so that I can be an adequate support for people. The same love of helping others is what brought me to Varsity Tutors. Through my major, I learned how to talk to students, how to teach, how to manage time, as well as how to be part of a major support system for each child. As a tutor for this program, I hope to utilize all of the above for each student that I help so that they do not feel as though school is hard and help them be motivated and encouraged.
