This position has given me significant experience utilizing small-group instruction with students requiring intervention in reading and math. I strive to design engaging lessons based on interactive exercises, activating higher-order thinking. I also am completing a Masters in Education and Technology, which allows me to integrate new, engaging and innovating technologies into small-group and individual instruction. I am certified in Childhood Education (grades 1-6) and am pursuing certification in Early Childhood Education this summer. I have experience tutoring, where I mentored students, ranging from elementary school through high school core subjects, also promoting critical thinking through modified lessons.
