About Me
I am a dedicated teacher and tutor looking to share my knowledge of literature, history, writing, and revision with students in Boston and beyond! I am passionate about working with students individually because I thrive on their success. Witnessing student improvement helps me believe in myself and others. I have worked with students as an adjunct lecturer of Professional Writing, College Writing, and Literary Studies. I have also worked with students of all ages as a Reading Instructor during my summers at the Institute of Reading Development. Throughout these experiences, I have dedicated myself to informing my students about the critical reading and writing process. I received my B.A. in English (cum laude) from Suffolk University and my M.A. in English Literature (honors) from the University of New Hampshire. I am currently in the Ph.D. application process! I tutor writing, reading, literature, history, philosophy, and any other writing intensive material. My favorite subject to tutor is Literature: my lifelong passion! I tailor my tutoring to the needs and goals of every student and break these goals up into manageable chunks. My interests outside of academia include Netflix binging, travel, creative writing, music, and the Boston Celtics.
Hobbies & Interests
Literature, Netflix, watching basketball, mindfulness meditation, and travel.
