I am a lifetime learner. I'm always looking to broaden my knowledge through reading and writing, and how those skills apply to my life experiences. My goal is to inspire students, in any way I can. I always knew teaching and tutoring was what I wanted to do with my career. I am going on my 5th year in education, and throughout my experiences I've connected with many kids and families. This has further affirmed my belief that education is the only career for me.

I love writing poetry. I enjoy the beach and a good book that transports me to another place. Fitness and sports are also important to me. Mostly I am spending my time with my husband and two wonderful dogs.
