I started tutoring peers my freshman year in General Biology, and gradually moved on to other subjects, such as Biochemistry and MCAT prep as I learned the topics myself. As someone who struggled to learn in elementary and middle school, I understand how frustrating a new concept can be, and do my best to develop individualized study plans for all my students. My goal is always to ensure that my students will eventually become academically independent with their subjects, to the point where I feel they could tutor someone else in that same content. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, weight lifting, Uke, and hiking.
