My focus when teaching is to empower ALL students in a manner that is friendly, exciting and comfortable. This year marks my 4th year of teaching primary grade students. I possess a Master of Science for Childhood education and Teaching Students with Disabilities for grades first to sixth. I am also finalizing my New York State License for teaching which will be this coming summer. To date I have classroom teaching experience across a range of subjects including literacy, writing, and mathematics. I have worked with students from Kindergarten to Fourth grade specifically in the charter school setting although, I have also student taught in New York City Department of Education's Special Education program. I love to facilitate student learning by making learning come alive through exploration, discourse and encouragement to apply learned skills independently.

I am a true social butterfly with an appetite for exploring and being present in the world around me. My hobbies reflect my vibrant and free flowing personality, and largely include; the arts, fitness, and traveling.
