About Me

I have my BA in Theatre Arts from Rollins College and my MA in Shakespeare and Creativity from The Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon England. I will be pursuing my nursing degree this Fall at Duke University. Go Blue Devils! As I furthered my career in Academia, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching and helping others, especially students, so I began tutoring. I have had the opportunity to teach at both the college and graduate levels and I have a desire to tutor high school students as well. I tutor in English, Literature, Theatre Arts, Shakespeare, Writing, Public Speaking, Essay Editing, and Anatomy and Physiology to name a few. My favorite subjects to tutor are Shakespeare and Theatre Arts, mainly due to the fact that I was a professional actor for over ten years, traveling and performing in the United States, the United Kingdom, as well as in Germany. In my spare time, you'll find me preparing to head to nursing school this Fall and brushing up on science terminology, as well as enjoying my time spent working at my local hospital.
