About Me

I am current student at the New England Conservatory pursuing my Masters degree in Music Composition. I received my Bachelors from NYU in Music Theory/Composition. For four summers, I worked as a counselor at a computer camp, where I taught students aged 6-11 website design, Scratch programming, and movie making. I've also worked as a Writing Center tutor, and have informally tutored friends in music theory. My teaching philosophy is that one has to want to learn something for its own sake in order to truly get the most value out of it. Whatever I am teaching, I try my best to impart the importance and beauty of the thing itself.
