I earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas and a Master in Education Administration from Dallas Baptist University. While I have just recently retired from a 28-year career in education, I am still passionate about helping students achieve their personal best. As a tutor, I get the distinct privilege of figuring out what is causing the student to struggle and support the child in overcoming the challenge. My goal is for the student to not only master content but to learn effective strategies that can be employed in new learning situations as well as build the self-confidence needed to be an independent learner.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking my dog, gardening, and working out.
