I decided to take two years off and work at a non profit aimed to help underrepresented students get access to opportunities and resources not readily available in their community. There I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to contribute and give back to the Lancaster community by creating my own 12-week engineering and coding course for the scholars in the program. These experiences inspired me to continue my education and attain my Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I love tutoring and mentoring because it provides me with the opportunity to pay it forward and support the next generation of leaders. Learning is an amazing experience but everyone is different, and as a teacher it is my role to cater to your learning style to show that nothing is too hard to master.
