Since graduation, I have been tutoring as a volunteer in Boston, as well as focusing on my own creative endeavors. I am intensely passionate about writing in all its forms. As a former journalist and live-long lover of literature, I very much enjoy educating students so that they may develop the skills need to participate in the larger discourse in society. In my experience, writing and reading are acts of conversation, and students are most effectively engaged and most academically succesful when they are listened to and encouraged to take part in the exchange. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, museums, walking my dog, and going to live concerts.
