About Me

Hello, I'm Shannon Garrick, a dedicated tutor based in the Charlotte metro region, currently pursuing a Master's in Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have worked as a tutor and teacher in grades K-12 and undergraduate students. I have experience in teaching STEAM, math, and reading to elementary aged students, biology to high school and college students. In addition, I am able to assist with the writing process and help students work on executive function skills, such as organization, planning, and using online tools to help with studying and work! As a tutor, I am committed to providing an individualized plan to help students succeed, including use of Blooket, videos, and fun websites to help students engaged with their learning.
