I am a certified teacher and am qualified to teach English language arts, social studies, and BCIT (business, computers, and information technology.) I have extensive experience with hesitant learners and I really enjoy helping students find new ways to learn. My experiences outside the classroom including being a tutor, trivia quiz master, and a forensics coach. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about language because the ability to read and write influences every subject -- including science and math! My students see me as a member of their team and I strongly believe in starting the educational process from where the student is, rather than where they "should be." In my spare time, I love learning more about esoteric subjects, having random conversations with strangers, and really appreciating my surroundings.
