Throughout my undergraduate I enjoyed taking various humanities classes, from Art History to Political theory. However, my passion for literature led me to pursue a Master's in English at the University of East Anglia where I specialized in modern and contemporary writing. As an avid writer I love supporting students on all areas of the essay-writing process, from reading and analyzing a text to crafting a thesis statement. Putting pen to paper can be a daunting task I struggled writing my own college application essays. Thus, I believe in focusing on helping students gain confidence in their own abilities. Overall, I enjoy trouble-shooting essays questions, helping students think critically about texts, and offering study tips on subjects ranging from History to Philosophy.
